I met with an Accident 2.5 months back and till the time insurance is not giving any formal reply and they are saying they will make the vehicle constructed total loss becasue the IDV is 6.5 lakhs and scrap value is 5.5 Lakhs and the repair cost is 3.5 Lakhs which is 52% of the IDV and this is estimate not the aggregate value. the car is in between 2nd and 3rd year. Could you pleaase advice me that can they make this constructed total loss ?
